Notes: 2019 was a long, mild summer, defined mostly by abundant rains in February and its soft finish in the Fall, which helped to preserve freshness. 2019 provided us with long hang time, that translated into a depth of color and texture. Through minimal intervention wine making, this Cabernet explodes with fruit at the fore front, expressing bright cherry and boysenberry, rolling mid pallet into cassis and dark leather, finishing with elegant, yet bold tannins. This is a wine that will pair well with meals, yet has the tenacity to stand alone. While it is drinking well now, over time its complexity will evolve, most likely peaking around 10-12 years.
