Notes: 2018 was a seamless year, devoid of the many challenges faced by grape growers in Napa Valley this past decade. 2018 is known as one of the best, recent vintages, along side 2016. Through minimal intervention wine making, this Cabernet is seductive and intense, with aromatic dark fruit notes. Smoked vanilla mingled with bramble, currant and cocoa leaves. It is robust, yet the tannins offer a supple but rich and lingering finish. This is a wine that will pair well with meals, yet has the strength to stand alone. While it is drinking well now, over time its complexity will grow, most likely peaking around 10-12 years.
